Meetings

Welcome to the BYU Linux Club!

We meet in 111 TMCB for Presentations and Workshops.

On the first Thursday of the month we will have a workshop. A workshop is where we all get together and teach/practice different skills in Linux. A list of attendees will be emailed out before each workshop so that members of the club can know what kind of skills they can learn at the workshop.

Some skills include:

  • Kerberos
  • LDAP
  • vim
  • bash
  • using the terminal as your IDE
  • Installing linux
  • etc…

On the 3rd Wednesday of the month we will invite a speaker from a linux based company and have a refreshment.
