Does anyone have any cool programs or tricks they’ve discovered on Linux? There’s this cool one I found that lets you use optical character recognition to convert text on screen, whether it’s from a picture or normal text, and it put’s the text on your clipboard. I can’t remember where I got it, stackoverflow or something like that, but here it is:

Put it some where in your path. I put mine in ~/.local/share/bin and then added that to my path.

Another cool program I’ve found recently is ‘fdupes’. You can give it a directory and it will go through and find all of the duplicate files and let you decide which ones you want to keep.
